Category sidebar

Hi,

I know there are 3 ways to create a sidebar.

Let’s say I have a category Homes.
For this category In category display M10 I want a sidebar with ads. I can set this in the Themepanel –> Categories
In single article display of this category Homes I want a sidebar with all the latest news of the category Homes.

It’s a bit much work to set the sidebar from the post settings everytime. Isn’t there a way to set a standard sidebar for every post in that category. Without it showing up in the startpage of that category (M10)

Hello,
Unfortunately this is the way our theme works. If you set a sidebar for a specific category, it will show on posts from that category (if the sidebar is set to default). There is no setting for your request. Sorry. You will have to add the sidebars manually if you want them to be different from the category sidebar.

I solved my issue by installing SMK Sidebar Generator plugin.

Love this Newspaper template and TagDiv support!!!
