Hello, how do please show only the categories in the menu bar?

With the built-in WordPress menu, you will need to choose the categories you want to show, and whether to create drop-down menu groups (related content, or sub-categories). It’s very easy once you try it.
You can even “check” boxes on left side of the menu (wp admin > appearance > menus)
