Hello firetoss,
The DoubleClick ads aren’t recognized by theme’s ad system and the code is rendered as it is. The theme only works using Google Adsense ad codes: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads/ for another type of ads you can either use wp text widget or a plugin like Simple Ads Manager or AdRotate to render the code then use theme’s ad spots. For more references about this regard, you can consult this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-responsive-ads-with-google-dfp/
Thanks.
Would using say Advanced Ads work to render the DoubleClick Ads code?
Hello firetoss,
Unfortunately, Advanced Ads and AdRotate are not tested with our theme and we cannot provide support for these kinds of plugins, sorry! As a hint, you can use AdRotate plugin for your website because a lot of our users use it and was satisfied with it functionality. For more information about how to use this type of plugin, I recommend you to read the documentation plugin, here -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/adrotate/ If you want to place the ads in different parts of the site, you have to use the do_shortcode method. For more information about this method, please check this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-call-ad-unit-in-php/
Hope this helps nad let us know how it goes!
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about your desired changes so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks.
Hello firetoss,
Unfortunately, we cannot provide support for AdRotate because is not a tested plugin with our theme, sorry! Please try to check its documentation and check what kind of Ad support this plugin, maybe your Ad code is not supported by this kind of plugin. Also, I suggest you get in touch with the author of the plugin because he is able to guide you in the right direction in this case because it is not theme related.
Thank you for your understanding!
