Hello,
I am trying the smart list, but I have a concern about the title of each item and SEO friendliness.
Is it possible that each smart list page has a title = H3 content (or whatever H element you select?)
For example here: http://livinator.com/10-rooms-to-inspire-a-spring-interior-re-do/8/ – the title of the page shall be “Clean clear interior”
In addition (but maybe I am asking too much), is it possible to include the title to the slug?
BTW I am using Yoast SEO.
Thank you
Marek
Hi,
When you create a smartlist, you can select the heading you want to have from here: http://screencast.com/t/tgdfa86mdLEF
As for the smartlist title slug, I’m not sure how you can achieve this as we have not tested it. It will probably need some custom work done on the smartlist files. Sorry but we fo not have a solution for this.
Thank you!
Hello,
you did not understand what I mean.
I want the H3 to appear in the <title> of each smart item.
For example here: http://postimg.org/image/hksed3j1v/ the title is now the post title, not the H3
Hi,
In order to change the title on the front-end inside a smartlist, you need to edit the theme file where the smartlist is being created and changing the h2 into a h3 like so: http://screencast.com/t/nfsM97pD
Thank you!
Hi,
The smart list unfortunately does not work like that. It’s inside a post so the titles will not be displayed in the header. The header will only display the main post title as you can see on our demo here:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/10-landscapes-wont-even-imagined-exist/5/
Smart lists are not posts. They are simple lists inside a post.
in any case, our theme has no settings for that heading. It can be edited to some extent by the seo yoast plugin.
Thank you!
