Is there a place on the site where we can adjust character limits for some of the blocks? I’d like to reveal more of the intros to my articles.

Yes, if you’re referring to the excerpts on blocks, you can adjust that in the theme panel under the “Excerpts” section. Here’s a screen shot of what it looks like:
You can set limits by number of words or number of characters. And each module has its own excerpt limits.
