I would like to add thumbnails to the sidebar for recent posts or popular post etc. Right not it just shows up as text only. I would love it if the thumbnail showed up of the feature image. How do you do that?

Hi
I assume that you’re reefing at this widget from WordPress: http://screencast.com/t/12PmJcK4Y
The theme does not control that widget as it’s a default one from WordPress and to change its functionality are required some customizations in wp core files. This is valid for all widget bundled in WordPress.
All this customiztions requires time and many investigations in order to be achieved.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
If this is not what you mean please provide more details about what you’re trying to do so I can inspect this closer and get back to you with a more accurate answer.
Thanks!
http://prntscr.com/amtibw That is the link to the page. The RECENT POSTS on the right hand side is where I would like thumbnails to show up with the heading. I know someone who has the same newspaper theme that has the thumbnails on the right hand side but he doesn’t know how he got them there and I like that look a lot better.
Hi
adidas1766 as @Chris pointed you can use one of theme’s blocks to display most recent posts with a thumb. For example you can use block 3, chose in it’s filters latest posts: http://screencast.com/t/wuUGrwo3kZ9 and you will have this result: http://screencast.com/t/HivdPy75n This is just an example, but you can use any block in sidebar.
Thanks!
Awesome thank you! I went with the block 7 and it is exactly what I wanted. Thank you for everyones help!
