Limit number of words in news ticker

Is there a way to change the number of the words or letters that appear in the news ticker? Apparently is 15 words but I’d like to reduce it because sometimes the titles overlap the “previous” button.

Hi

You can set the length of titles displayed in trending now module from theme panel > excerpts: http://screencast.com/t/kOVqwy1rcS By default the length it’s set to 25 words but you can decrease that value as you want.
