Help! Date in top menu is days behind & is hurting posts

Hi guys,

I don’t understand how or why this is happening, but when I select the option in your theme panel to display the date in my top menu, it displays a date that is days (sometimes weeks) older than the current date. This happens across browsers & across devices. I’ll hit refresh multiple times and every once in a while it’ll show correctly but 99% of the time the date is embarrassingly old. And related to this I believe is the reason why posts that I’ve published in recent days may not show up because the theme seems to think that the current date is the old one and so any posts after it aren’t being recognized.

As a result, I’ve had to turn it off but really would love to solve this with your help.

Thank you!

Hello markg,

Please ensure that you have correctly set your timezone from your WordPress and also please make sure that you local time are the same with your real time, from this -> http://screencast.com/t/r74r1y2MATM I have checked the code from this feature and the function which compare the time uses local time. Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Let us know how it goes.

Thank you!
