Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again. If the problem persist deactivate lazy load animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/y8CTxGuyMMu

Now I remarked that visual composer has also problems with word press 4.5
When I want to edit pages (for instance the start page to place an add block) there is no access to visual composer to add elements to the right place. I hope a theme update is coming up soon to fix this problem.

We updated the theme and included the latest version of Visual Composer, V 4.1.1.2, which is testes and works fine with WordPress.
