Text Header

Hi
I would like to use a Text Header than than a logo image, and the Theme Panel > Header seems to suggest if I use Header Styles 9,10 or 11 then this will work. However I need to change the font, size and alignment. Do I do this in the Theme Panel > Fonts, and if so which element is it, or does this have to be done in css

Thanks

Hello aph100,

If you want to change the font-size, font family, alignment you have to use a bit of CSS code to do that. Please try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

The code is ->

.logo-text-container .td-logo-text {
font-size: 60px;
font-family: Arial;
text-align:left;
}

The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/MAriz95sNqo

Please notice that the font-family will have to be loaded in the theme from theme panel, otherwise, the font will not be applied on your side.

Thank you for the message!

Hi there, I would like to do the same as the above, that is using Header Style 9 I would like to change the text size & font.
I am an absolute newbie to this and so I am unsure re Custom CSS.
I assume that I go into the theme panel, click on Custom CSS whereby a blank box will appear and then I include the code as described above or alter the font family and size as needed??
Is that all I need to do or am I missing something, so far I have not had to do any code work and I do not want to mess things up as I have nearly finished building the site??
Many Thanks
Garry

Sorry just one other question?
Is it possible to put a background image in the text header area, so that the image is in the background and text on top of the image, instead of using a background colour??
And if so how to you get the image in there etc??please remember I am not very technical of this sort of stuff.
Again many thanks
Garry

Hello Austrural,

Please notice that the Custom CSS code should have to be put it in that place, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/XReygXfGnEiH
For your second request, if you want to add some images to your header area, you will have to use the background-image attribute. Please try to use the below example for your website.

The code is ->

.td-header-style-7 .td-header-main-menu{
background-image: url("http://enewsvid.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/enewsvid_background.jpg");
background-size: 100%;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}
}

The result is here -> http://screencast.com/t/kJwuXHy0X5z

If is not what you mean, please provide more details.

Thanks for your understanding!
