Hello,
Unfortunately the theme does not control the search results as we use the default wordpress search function. It’s a wordpress setting you need to customize. There are lots of topics regarding the search widget in the worpdress forums.
As fort he error in the search results, there is a bug with module 16 so please change the search template module from here until we release a fix for it: http://screencast.com/t/zezAZYoA4
