I need to add the associated articles’ main image next to the “previous article” and “next article” buttons

Hi,
Unfortunately the theme has no option for adding the image inside this widget. If you need this customization you can hire a freelancer to help out as it has to be done custom. Or alternatively you could maybe fin a plugin to replace the next and prev articles.
