Hi,
This is very frustrating. My website has up-to-date NewsMag theme version 2.3.6, WordPress version 4.5.1
Right now the visual composer is not working. The template settings are not showing. I am not able to create any page with it, also can’t edit or change the pages which were built with visual composer templates.

Make sure that yo’re using V 4.11.2 of Visual Composer which is included in theme’s path, also try to deactivate all plugins except VC, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using and test again. Hi
You can find the plugin in theme’s path. Make sure you download the last theme version available on themeforet then update Visual Composer plugin fro /plugins folder as it’s indicated in our documentation.

Hi, I have a question. As per the post I have to delete the plugin. Then reinstall. If I delete it, will my all page settings including home page setting gone??

The page settings are stored in database and won’t be affected when Visual Composer it’s updated. However as a security measure make sure you do a full backup t the current wp-install: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
