Two boxes in post editor

I feel like there’s probably an easy answer for this, but I can’t seem to figure it out.

After installing the theme, when I’m composing a new post, the visual editor shows two boxes. My text all goes in the left box and the right box stays blank. It’s very annoying, though, as it takes up a lot of space and makes it difficult to visualize how my post is going to look.

Does anyone know what that box is for and how I can get rid of it?

Hi

The editor was designed to have the same width with the post content on front-end. If your’re using sidebar the post content have 640px, so the editor have the same width. If you’re not using sidebar the post content have 980px and also the editor change width’s changes at this value. Basically the editor simulate the front end layout. You can make the editor full width by removing this code from editor-style.css file: http://screencast.com/t/vuVmd9POhttp://screencast.com/t/KI26VSAUnnO

Hope this help.
Thanks!
