How can I add an audio post format to the other post formats (standard and video)?

Hello,
The audio post format is on our update list and we will try to implement it in a future version, but I cannot say for sure when this will happen. I cannot promise it will be in the next version though. Until such time, you can use this guide if you have coding knowledge to try and implement it:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Formats or you can maybe find a plugin that has such features.
