Is it save to update WordPress when using the latest version of Newspaper (and Visual Composer)?
Works for me.
Good idea to learn to keep backups of your site, and installers, so you can roll back if some update does NOT work for your site.

PS – 4.5.2 seems to have caused a display issue with Video Playlists and the video playback icon over my big grid. Working on that now as it may be a conflict of a plugin update.
I guess I should always preface my comment with “works for me, but you might be using something I’m not … like Video Playlists…” đ
I’m not here that much anymore, but again this week have been doing some pesky web server upgrades for the ImageMagick exploit and we’re hardening our FTP to only work with SFTP and not allow FTP/SSL connections anymore.
There was also a YOAST SEO update this week, too.
ANyway… you won’t see me around here much anymore, but i do pop in from time to time. Glad my past comments here helped somebody.
