Hi – when my page first loads, the main menu is on one line (great!) but then a second later, it wraps to two rows. Any idea why? Thanks.

Please ensure that you do not have any additional customizations that affects your main menu. Also, please make sure that this issue does not come from your untested plugins. Try to disable all the untested plugins, clear cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. If you problem is still there after these changes, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect it closer your main menu and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

I just made the font smaller for now. You can’t see the site without admin access and obviously I’m not posting those details on an open forum.

I suspect this behaviour happens due that you have custom code for your font and this will apply after the default code that is loaded from style.css and this font maybe is too large for your menu items and because of this will wraps on the two line. Also, if you are using the child theme and you have the latest update of our theme (Newspaper v.7.0), please ensure that you have updated and the child theme which comes bundled with our theme.

Please notice that you have a lot of menu items for your main menu and because of this the items will fall on the second row. If you want to have 1 row for your items, please decrease the length of them and decrease the number of them.

Is there any options to make it one row without decreasing the number of menu items? Because users dont want this main menu to disappear from website..

Unfortunately, this way is not possible because the main menu has the width fix and please keep in mind that is the behaviour of the theme in this regard. If you want to customize your main menu, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment ,sorry!
