Hi
I’ve 10,000+ articles on our website. And I don’t want the readers to read beyond the latest 500 or say 1000 articles (or probably limit by month, say last 3 months only).
I have used the infinite loading on homepage and used the limit functionality to limit it to 1000 posts.
But how to limit throughout the site (specially in category and author pages)

Unfortunately the theme has no such options to limit posts to a certain time period. You can maybe find a plugin that has such a functionality. Maybe this will help: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-archive-posts-without-deleting-them-in-wordpress/
