I’ve updated the Newspaper theme to v7, and the new features are really nice. But I’m having an issue with the search function when the website width is below 768px.
When the user reduces the website to below 768px wide and then clicks / presses the search icon in the navigation, the website shrinks a little bit in the screen and then everything becomes non-interactable. I’m guessing that when the user presses the search button, a new looking search field that has come with Newspaper v7 is meant to come up. It looks like this search function isn’t working for me for some reason.
Would you be able to help me fix this issue? You can see the issue on a website I run at the following url:

Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, deactivate the child theme, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test again.

I found the source of my issue, and it ended up being the child theme in my case. I hadn’t updated the child theme files to the new ones that came with Newspaper v7. So I updated the child theme, and then copied over all of the custom code I made in the theme files.
