Pin it button on thumbnails?

I want to add the “pin it button” to the article thumbnail images and possibly images? Is this possible?

I don’t think so without some major custom coding. You would likely need to hire a programmer to help you with that since it would involve adding a pin it overlay on top of image, as well as changing the link for the image from the actual site page to Pinterest, but pulling the photo info and larger image vs the thumbnail. Or, having only the button be link to pinterest as overlay while rest of image goes to story post.

Likely best to consult a custom programmer for this query.
