hi – is there anyway i can control the sub category headings to appear on my posts? at the moment the ‘category’ name displays over the post image, and the only time the sub category heading displays, is when it is alphabetically ‘before’ the name of the main category – e.g.…i have a main category called ‘innovations’, which always appears on the post image, despite the sub category being ticked. the only time the sub category appears instead of ‘innovations’ is if the sub category happens to start with a letter before ‘i’ in the alphabet – is there a way this can be changed so the sub category heading appears regardless…?

I assume you are referring to the posts on your homepage as the post itself shows all category tags. The single category tag on the homepage posts is grabbed from the primary category. Set the category you want to display in this section on post edit: http://screencast.com/t/DlqoHY5ry1
