Hello kanstan,

I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as properly, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/CZka3eTZ and the results you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/OEkUfY5geN Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, please all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks.

I upgraded to Version 7.0 yesterday and the mobile menu drops down to show only the following:

1. Social Media Links
2. Sign in | Join
3. Click here – to use the wp menu builder

What happened to the site’s menu?

I also upgraded to Version 7.1 today and still the same issues as above.

Catalin.
I complied with your recommendation + theme updated to version 7.0.1. No changes.
BUT! Everything is OK with a menu color only on the homepage of the site (pupsek.com). On the pages and posts all the exact same problem.

I have completed the downgrade theme to version 6.7.2. It is not clear how to solve the problem of version 7.0.1.

Hello kanstan,

Please notice that, until now, we do not have any bad reports regarding on this case with background-color. Please ensure that you have removed all your untested plugins and leave just installed only the theme plugins. Try to purge your CDN file if you are using the CDN, clear all your caches and test it again.

Thanks.

Hello!
I disable all plugins except wp supercache and Visual Composer. Clear all caches. CDN is not used.
On the homepage of the site, all is OK background in mobile menu.
When I go to any posts when I open the menu background becomes white.

Hello kanstan,

I have checked your website again and I saw that your mobile menu is working fine. Also, I have noticed that you have the 6.7.2 version of Newspaper and above you have said that the problem happens in the latest version. Please try to switch the theme to the latest version and provide again your website URL so I can inspect it closer.

Hello kanstan,

I have checked your source page and also I have noticed that you are using a lot of untested plugins, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/i36WgAB9wxFj Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active (4.11.2 version), clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme to rule out the conflicting plugins. It is possible that your untested plugins to interact with our theme and might cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try the theme without these and check the results.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank your for your understanding!

But ALL my plugins work fine with version 6.7.2 theme!
For some time (to check) I can turn them off. But by using them I can not refuse, because they need the functionality of the site!

After checkup it was found out that the problem of the plugin Q2W3 Fixed Widget. It creates a problem, but in version 6.7.2 plugin is compatible with theme.

Hello kanstan,

Please notice that the theme code is further changing and the new code of the theme could interfere with these plugins (which was worked in the older version of Newspaper) and might create a lot of unknown issue through the theme. The general rule is to use the theme without the untested plugin to rule out the conflicting plugins which could be caused by them. Also, in this case, you will have to find an alternative, another plugin which works fine with the theme.

Thank you for your understanding!

I fixed the issue by going to wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=locations

Make sure you assign the Header Menu Mobile (main)
Footer Menu Mobile

Thanks
John
