Mobile Category

I have updated to new Newspaper V7 and on the mobile end I am having a few issues.

1. ON the mobile – my categories show up under the Menu but my About Me page doesn’t function properly. When I click on About Me I only see the category underneath the text/image of me which are the Latest Articles. My About Me page is set up as a Page but it is a category on the website. So it shows up in the menu but doesn’t show the info on it. What can be causing this.
Website is http://www.fit2fash.com
About me page is http://www.fit2fash.com/about-me/
What I see on the mobile is everything after Submit from the About Me Page

2. Is there a way to get Subscribe widget or section to show up on the mobile version so people can sigh up? Not referring to sing/log-in panel which is different than subscribing. I have a blog and it’s super important to get people to subscribe via mobile.

Hello,

1) The issues you are facing are not issues at all. It’s just the way the mobile theme displays content. The mobile theme will not show content created for the desktop version. It will however display the latest articles if you have them set on that particular page. If you plan on using the mobile theme plugin, you will have to create a mobile version of your pages without the use of visual composer, just by using the mobile editor (the second mce editor now available in the page edit)

2)The subscription can be made through the theme login option in the mobile menu. Unfortunately the theme has no alternative subscription method. You can try to add the widget from the sidebar inside the page content in the mobile editor. I see you use the mailchimp subscription for the newsletter, so maybe mailchimp allows you to add a subscription form inside the mce editor.

Thank you!
