Post description length

Hello everybody,

First sorry for my english, it is not my mother tongue :p

So I just purchased the Newspaper theme and I’ve to say that’s its really great so far – I’m in the early beggining of my website, creating some dummy post to train my self.

In my welcome page I have some blocks which highlight recent post – A picture and a description, I’m trying to find a way to edit this description or simply to understand how it works since for some posts it display some more text than other.

Here is an example :

I want to understand how I can set a specific text here, below the image, or to understand why for the first it seems limited in length and not for the other.

Please, do you have some hints on this ?
