I have some images in the sidebar, which are linked to pages. I just changed to Newspaper und now I see, that only a few pixels at the top of the images are clickable. Anybody an idea how to fix that? I have no idea.

thank you so much for your research! I changed it in between and used a plugin for that (Simple ads Manager). It works, but it is not the most beautiful solution. Would be much nicer with a textwidget and html. If you find the time, I could change it back and you check it again? Or I had another idea: Would be nice, if I could use a tagdiv-block with a link to the page. Is that possible? Or can I use the blocks only for posts?

You can use block for pages to. You need to add in custom post type field pages to read pages. http://screencast.com/t/zQ7W6bbXN
Or you can use HTML in text widget, this will be easy because you can arrange the content like you want.

Thanks for your help, Marius – I regenerated the thumbnails and I am happy about that.
But still I have the other two problems, let me describe it a bit more detailed: First I used a text widget with html, then the link on the image was only clickable on a few pixels at the top. But that only happended, when the widget was one of the firsts in my sidebar – when i put the same widget at the bottom of the sidebar it worked well and the entire image was clickable.
The other thing thing: Using a module in the sidebar which contains pages. I.e. I would like to feature my “About” page in the sidebar, like I would be able to do it with posts. How exactly can I do that? What exactly do I have to type into the field “pages” (see your screenshot above)?

1. I understand that, probably is something above, an iframe or something, i need to see the issue to inspect it.
Put an image in a text widget and give me a link to see the issue.
2. You can use a block to filter pages but you can’t control what order will have the pages, or put a particular page first. If you write pages on post type on a block you will get latest pages in that block.

I’m having the exact issue of only the top part of the image in an html text widget is clickable

The top ad on the right sidebar should be linked, however only the top part of the image is clickable.
If I move that widget down to the bottom, the entire image becomes clickable. I’ve tried to work around this with an image map, but that doesn’t work either. There must be some class or something that is causing this? Please help, we are to make this site live in 2 days but we are in trouble if the ads are not fully clickable.
