Front Page Displays Doesnt Work For Posts Page

Hi,

I am having problem with Front Page Display.

Setting > Reading > Front Page Display > Posts Page > Dropdown

1. The dropdown never show any Post, just Pages. So I cant select any Post for Front Page Display.
2. The Front Page dropdown do show Pages, it works. But I what I need is to show a single Post as Front Page.

Can anyone help?

Hello SteveLow123,

Please notice that the posts do not appear in this drop down, but only the Pages. Also, please be carefully when you edit this setting, do not set the same page for Front page and Post page because it is not okay and will appear some errors. For more information about this, please check the codex documentation here -> https://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_Reading_Screen Also, please notice that these settings are not theme related because these come from WordPress.
