Hi! i have a lot of Events i need to duplicate using a separate plugin. i’m really slowed down by the fact that when i view Events in the backend, they are sorted by starting date or some other opaque metric. As with regular Posts, i want to be able to see my most recently-created Event at the top of the list (regardless of when the Event starts or ends).
i installed your Advanced Post Manager plugin, but even it doesn’t give me the option to view Events by creation date. How can i accomplish this?

I am not aware of the plugin used to create your events and of its functionality. However if this plugin does not have some sort filters you will have to create them by editing its code. This is a task which require some customization in plugin’s core file and also many tests to achieve the desired result.
We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

i’m not using a plugin to create my Events initially. I’m just creating them normally. When i click “Events” to view all of the Events i’ve created, they’re sorted by some mysterious metric other than by creation date.
Events are just custom Posts, correct? Why is it the default behaviour of Posts to sort by creation date, but not of Events? Doesn’t seem like an extensive effort should be required to change this.
