Thank you for all of your continued help with the theme.
We are trying to control the big grid and which post gets which thumbnail size. Is there a was to tell the big grid 3 which post will be in the large thumb on the left and so on?
Currently we have the grid filtering the posts by a “featured” category and we cannot control which post goes where.

Unfortunately, please notice that our theme does not have such an option that give you a way to control the posts in the big grid, sorry! Please notice that the posts in this feature will be displayed only after sorting type chosen from Big Grid panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/vLVBxEvs3 If you want to add some options in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
For your second request, I suppose that you are referring to the Big Grid from the mobile theme. As you can see, the default behaviour for Big Grid in the mobile theme is to display the posts from Featured Category. So, if you want to change this type of sorting, you will have to alter the code from the front_page.php core file, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Plojjmhh0WM
