I have recently installed the Newspaper 7 theme, and it IS awesome!
But, there is one category in the main navigation in the demo “HOMEPAGES” which is great because it allows me to test different layouts instantly… but I need to ‘hide’ that navigation category for now.
How can I ‘hide’ it, without ‘removing’ it altogether?

If you want to hide this item from your main navigation, you will have to use a bit of CSS code to do that. Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area. Please notice that you will have to find the menu item ID for each item you will want to hide using the Inspector.

Quick question… does ‘hiding’ them in this way also make the page load faster? Or does it still have to ‘load’ those categories?
In other words, is it better for page load speed (SEO) to remove them altogether?

Please notice that if you choose to hide it, the menu item it be just hidden but it will be loaded and if you choose to get rid of from your panel, the menu item will not be loaded and this will matter little to your page speed.

We love the newspaper theme! We have 2 blogs, one uses the newspaper theme and one does not.
We would like to use the newspaper theme for the other blog as well… do we need to purchase an additional license?

Normally the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed: http://screencast.com/t/NqzloVgyUJB.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.1.1) and also, please make sure that the Social Counter is updated to the latest version of it, Social Counter 4.1 and not 4.0. Clear all your caches and test it again.

Why, on my blog, with the SOCIAL COUNTER for instagram, when a user clicks on my instgram profile it points to our UltimateMoms instagram… which is correct.
But… when a user clicks on an image thumbnail on the plugin on MOBILE (not on pc), it points to some odd instagram?? with 17k followers?
Please advise, as all of my mobile traffic that is clicking on a thumbnail image is going to the the wrong instagram!!
Note: the settings are all correct in the setup.

It does not point to the proper instagram account on MOBILE DEVICES.
go to our blog on a phone (I am using iphone), and click on one of the thumbnail images (the photo of the mother with the child)… it goes to some ‘odd’ instagram account! ??
