Is there a way to put a homepage post element in the middle of the page?

To look something like this:

The homepage post element was intent to be displayed always at the top of the page. Adding two or more elements like this on the page will not work as expected as they will overlap.

What is the default size?

The homepage post have a fixed height and cannot be changed easily as it functionality depends by it. We need that fixed value because js calculate the scroll down distance when this button it’s clicked: http://screencast.com/t/Eg78bium6
