Shortcodes not working for Newspaper theme in Visual Editor (posts,pages)

Hi there!

I updated my site to WP3.9 and the theme to 3.7, but it seems like the shortcodes for Box Quote and other stuffs are missing in the Visual Editor.

I thought there will be a fix for that in Newspaper 3.7, but unfortunately there is none.

How can I fix that? When the official fix will be released?

I have the same problem, I need this shordcodes , becasue I use them frequently on my website. Look forward to your prompt reply and and support how to fix this problem.

Same issues for me and need them for page styling.

Also With the new font setup you have from the last couple of updates I cant individually style the headlines, fonts, weights and sizes. Can this be brought back in?

With the Visual Composer settings do we need a licence? It looks to be working but not sure as the settings are blank. Usually when these features are in themes this tab option is not available as its part of the theme.

Could you also list or tell us how we can activate hidden shortcodes?

Hi, all updated to new everything, lost my shortcodes function ( box quote) etc

Same here… tabs aswell.

To me it doesn’t work, too 🙁
