Hi! How can I update the Newspaper without losing the changes and/or customizations I made?

hi,
first be sure to do a full site backup: file + database.
then : http://import.tagdiv.com/newspaper/doc/#howtoupdate
if you made any customizations to the php files of the theme, then you manually have to bring theme to the new version.
