I can’t exclude categories or even specify just the categories I want included. Please help just purchased support.

Please notice that you can set your block filter from the Block Settings to exclude the category if you do not want to show them (sub-categories) you will have to use the exclude function (with ‘-‘ minus ID category ID ‘-47)
For example, I have Fashion category which has 4 subcategories, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/pOTO6Xfsr So, if you want to exclude all of these subcategories, you will have to follow the following steps, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/LsSZ0In0r -> http://screencast.com/t/Sz1eCZXcAd and then, here you should see the results -> http://screencast.com/t/VSb6MDEwiaP2
