I just noticed on my site from looking from my phone that videos and soundcloud embeds are no longer responsive…everything is huge…how do I fix this? The site is http://TripleHQ.com
Hi,
I have checked your site and saw the soundcloud iframe problem. The issue is the width and height are already set from the iframe settings. They are not created responsive by default. They have a fixed width and height: http://screencast.com/t/jnAj15xLObI
You need to remove he player width and height and allow it;s autoscale feature to run as specified here: https://developers.soundcloud.com/docs/widget
Thank you!
so if I use the soundcloud link which auto creates the player when you drop it in wordpress it will do this? I never use the embed codes. Also what about the videos? they arent responsive either.
Hi,
You need to use the embed codes if you want to have responsive content. If the default embed method is not responsive, you need to check with the official embed method from soundcloud.
As for the videos, please provide an example of what videos you are referring to. Provide a specific url that points to the video in question.
Thank you!
heres a link for example http://triplehq.com/disney-gator-attack-2-year-olds-body-found/
on mobile the video is large and cant see half of it unless you actually click on it…is this the way its supposed to look?
Hi,
I have inspected your site on multiple devices but could not find any responsiveness issues with the video you posted: http://screencast.com/t/uT2wXzvTF
Please check the videos again on a few different mobile devices and let us know if you still have issues with this.
Thank you!
