Filter posts in a block by means of post format

Hi,
I’d like to filter the posts shown with a block 16 on the base of post_format (i.e. video, standard, …) but can’t find a way. Is it possibile, and if yes, how?

Unfortunately theme’s blocks don’t have an option which filter posts by theirs format. An alternative would be to add a new category for posts, like Video or Standard, and filter posts by these categories.
