Does Tagdiv have a recommendation for a wordpress security plugin?
I’ve been using All In One WordPress Security for the last year or so without any issues until recently when I found I could no longer edit pages – Visual Composer was coming up empty. Disabling all my plugins and enabling them one by one found this security plugin as the culprit (too bad I was doing a binary search rather than just starting at the top…)
Current workaround is to disable the plugin when I need to edit a page (rare). I’m looking at WordFence and Ithemes Security as replacements.
I’ve seen the recent discussion about turning on learning mode for WordFence. Any issues with iThemes Security?
Any recommendations for one security plugin over another?

Unfortunately, no plugin of them has not been tested with our theme and we cannot make any recommendation in this regard, sorry! As you can see through our forum, a lot of users are using the Wordfence Security plugin without problems. Perhaps, another client will see this topic and can give a suggestion in this case.

The marketleader for wordpress security definitely sucuri.net.. but i use wordfence also without real problem. A new security plugin will release next month called securepress, built by wordpress veteran at wprocket
But if you need more peace of mind go for sucuri, because it protect even before the attacker reach your site
