Hey i want to say first i love the theme newspaper, but i have a issue when i use the “Speed Booster” plugin, with IE11 or Firefox browers, my background is white and my navigation header the words is all black, when i removed the plugin then every thing is working as entended,in google chrome using the “Speed Booster” my site look the way it supposed to look with a image background and the navigation header is dark back ground with white fonts, on the other browers it’s not like this when “Speed Booster” is enable.

It’s a plugin conflict. I use the speed booster plugin with and without backgrounds and there is no cross browser difference.

I believe the speed booster plugin simply moves theme js to the footer.

It’s an experimental plugin still and does experience conflicts for some users so just disable it if you don’t want to hunt down the conflict.

Will sir if it was a plugin issue then all browers will have the problem,i don’t have any issues with google chrome only IE and firefox, and when i disable the plugin i’m getting a lot of 404’s error with this…

/XXXXXXX/themes/Newspaper/data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAEAAAAMBAMAAABRpcpkAAAAJFBMVEUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACmWAJHAAAADHRSTlMYFREODAoHBgQDAgGDBS5qAAAAIElEQVR4XmNgYBBgUGAwYHBgCGBIYChgaGCYwLCAYQMAH7gEIQV1/xQAAAAASU

When i turn the plugin back on that error i’m not getting any more but as soon i turn the plugin off and any one visit my site i see a lot of that error in my logs…

If all browsers were the same then yes, you might be right. But since the different browsers do work differently behind all the pretty colors and sounds, I’m gonna go with those differences being more than just coincidence.

Now back to the topic at hand. How are you implementing your background color and image? Your site shows neither the color or image in Firefox.

How are you implementing your CDN? There may be a compatibility issue with Could Flare and Newspaper. And before you get snarky again these incompatibilities can occur without you doing anything messing up what worked before.

Chances are you need one of the dev team members to login and find the issue. Plugin conflict is still the most likely, next would be custom CSS error/lack of cross browser compatibility.

The 404 error you get is saying that you’re using inline images encoded in Base64 – a not-so-reliable way of reducing HTTP requests when loading images that is known to cause issues to websites, not themes or software, but websites of all types. Are you running any compression, caching or other website speed-up plugins?

Well after days trying to find the issue with the other browers i found the culprit it had nothing to do with clouldflare are plugins it’s a little issue with the “SWITCH MENU ICONS COLOR” when i change that too white then my background and navigation header is messed up in the browers IE11 and Firefox,so to fixed my issue i have no choose to leave the “SWITCH MENU ICONS COLOR” to BLACK and now all browers is working as entended.

But thanks for your input but this topic can be closed now since i had to figure it out on my own with out any support what so ever from the support team.

That 404’s i think it have something to do with my slider but for now the speed booster is install so that’s not something i going worry about because i don’t get those 404’s when the speed booster is turn on.

That sounds like a bug these guys can fix. Like I said, every browser is different in how it handles things. Usually color is universal but perhaps they have something else working on the icons and that’s why it affected your site.

Nice catch.

My problem is nearby Steven: If I use the Speed Booster Plugin, the Revolution Slider fails. The js-codes of Newspaper were placed in the footer over the link to jQuery. That can be the fault. Too bad!

Hi,
tagDiv Speed Booster is not compatible with Revolution Slider.

Thanks Marius – is there anything else the tagDiv Speed Booster isn’t compatible with ? If not I may give it a try.

My page speed scores are 31 mobile and 41 desktop. I have done the W3 cache as described in the tagdiv support page but not done Speed Booster yet.

Hi,

@london789
the tagDiv Speed Booster is incompatible only with Rev Slider from our recommended/optional plugins list. https://forum.tagdiv.com/installation/

About the page speed you need to analyze your site using Page speed insights or gmatrix and resolve all the issues reported.

On our demo we use only the Speed Booster + W3 with page cache enable + a good server configuration.

You can read here some tips about the page speed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/pagespeed/

Hope this help!
Thanks for the message!
