Hi
I am having an issue with the VS composer plugin. Every time I want to edit a page, there is a 500 error server.
Now I have contacted my hosting and they told me that this error comes from the VS composer plugin.
Also, they suggested me to delete the actual one and to upload the latest version. I went to Envato and have download the last version and have uploaded to my website, but the problem persists. It’s been two months now that I use the same plugins and never had this kind of problem. Also, my hosting told me to contact the author of the theme if the problem continues.
Can you help me with this, please?
Thank you
Hi again
I forgot to tell you that I am stuck as I can’t edit any page or post until I fix this issue.
So it’s very urgent!
Hi,
Please follow this topic to get rid of the 500 error:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-500-on-my-site/
Thank you!
Hi Bogdan,
I am sorry but I did not really understand the topic at all. Can you help me, please and tell me what to do?
Thank you
You should check your system status parameters: http://screencast.com/t/bpnfaltKJ and try to get them all green by following this tutorial: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
This is what helped solve most of the 500 errors our users get.
Thank you!
Hi again,
I have asked my hosting if they can fix the PHP configuration problem and they told me that they don’t help with these kinds of problem. Now I don’t know nothing about PHP configuration and can’t even get into the panel to check the status parameters. Could you please help me fix this problem?
Hi,
The theme has some server requirements and also there are some recommendations for php.ini for better wordpress and theme functionality – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Like it is specified in that guide this may differ from server to server and it is recommended to read your host documentation for this or ask them about this to tell you where you need to make these changes and what are the limitations in this regard.
Also if you did not have this issue before and the theme worked properly, this means that you have changed something to your current install, maybe a corrupt htaccess or low php memory, you can read more about this here what are the steps to debug this issue – http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/
Thanks!
There have been some changes in my hosting company and maybe this the reason of this problem
However, I am checking with them and hope they will help me.
Thank you again!
