Please notice that the Newspaper uses only the WordPress Comments Box. What type of comment box do you want to add above default comments in the post? Do you have some plugins with this functionality and you want to add their comments box above that of the theme? Please notice that our theme does not have any option to do it, sorry! If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry! Also, we do not provide plugin implementation or support for untested plugins.
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about what you want to achieve so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

I understand. I am using the default wordpress comments.
So from my understanding based on your reply, the only way to have the comment box above the comments is to customize it. There is not problem to that. I just wanted to make sure all options have been reviewed properly before customization.
Furthermore, if you know of any comment plugins that can do this, I’ll all ears!

You can try to find some free plugins which have this functionality and see how it will work for you. We do not have any recommendation in this regard because we do not have any tested plugin in this regard.
