Google Adsense non-compliance

Hi, I got a Google Adsense non-compliance notification. IT reads:

“Publishers may not implement Google ads in a manner that disguises the ads in any way. In order to maintain a good user experience, it is important for publishers to clearly distinguish Google ads from site content. This includes, but is not limited to: site layouts in which the ads push content below the fold on mobile devices; placing 300×250 or larger ad units above the fold on a mobile optimized site.”

I think I need to add the word “advertisement” before each ad? That’s my reading of it. Or could it be something else? Here is a sample page if anyone can tell me what’s wrong: http://www.burrardstreetjournal.com/cactus-club-bikini-dress-code-introduced/

Last week I added page level ads but that surely can’t be the problem as they appear exactly as Google want them to? I never had this problem before until now.

Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

I think it may be because I had A 300 X 250 Ad near the top of the article. Do I also need to label the ads too however?

Hello failmuch,

Yes, here is talking about the title ad. At the moment, you will have to manually add the “advertisement” before each code. Please notice that we will consider implementing this title ad to be automatically added in near future update.

Thanks for your understanding!
