Sorry, I thought the breadcrumb ‘home’ is the one you want to remove. You can simply chose another page template like the default one which will not show the title if visual composer is used http://screencast.com/t/Bo4JCPyN or as an alternative, you can use this css:
.home .td-page-title{
display:none!important;
}
