Articles in category pages divided by date

Hello,
I want to show the articles inside the category pages, divided by date of publication.
I currently use Module 16 to list the articles but they are all shown without any division.

For example:

8 August
Post 1
Post 2

7 August
Post 3
Post 4
Post 5

Hello okgo87,

Please keep in mind that the order of the posts from the category page is by latest, by default. As you can see, in the category page appears a pull-down filter which offers a way to your users to filter the posts after some filters, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/7yD955CLvOh
If you want to add some option in theme, you will have to alter the code through adding some additional customizations that involve custom work and we cannot provide this at the moment, sorry!

I understand that. Can you tell me which files do I have to modify, at least? It doesn’t seem a difficult customization to me.

Hello,

You will have to modify the category.php core file if you want to affect the posts from category pages. Please notice that is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work.
