Visual Compser errors

Hi,

I updated to Newspaper 3.8.1 , deleted the wpbakery folder and updated the VC plugin via FTP.

All my predefined templates are broken – which is not that bis issue. I recreated them. But the copy-function in visual composer is not working anymore. When I now click on the copy-icon on any module (image, row, text) nothing happens.

Maybe you can check this and consider a fix for one of the next updates.

Hi,
Please update the Visual composer to from the latest theme version. Everything should work fine.

Hi Marius,

thanks for the reply. I did update my site. Currently I am using

Newspaper version 3.8.3
VC version 4.1.3 (which was included in the themefolder)

Problem with copy function still exists.

Well, today’s update is having the js_composer.zip in both plugins/ folder and in the Newspaper.zip archive, in includes/plugins/ ..
I wish we would have this sorted soon.
Also this “Updates info” link from the right seems NOT UPDATED.

not sure why it matters the plugin is in two places; perhaps one is for the automated install and another is for manual install?

Why does that need to be sorted ?

The zip files are for install … it still needs to be extracted and placed into the actual /wp-content/plugins/ folder one way or another.
