I just updated to Newspaper 7 from 6 and since the update none of our ads from our Google DFP (Doubleclick for Publishers) are displaying on our site. I went into the theme panel and all the code in the Ads section is still there, just as it was before the update…but no ads are showing up. The spots seem to be there, but are just blank. This is a critical part of our site, since it’s the only way we generate revenue through the site and our customers are paying for their ads to be there. Can you please help me diagnose what is going wrong and how to fix it? Thank you!!

The DFP ads most likely need another type of implementation you maybe did to newspaper 6 and forgot about it. DFP ads will not work out of the box with our theme so you need to follow this guide to set them up:

OK, I need help. I have gone through the tutorial process and copied all the code, as directed, but I can not get the ads to display. I did see one ad display temporarily, in the sidebar, but it was not the size that should have been there. It was a 300×600 instead of the 300×250. Then while editing the code I could not get it to reappear and have not been able to get any of the ads to show up. We have four ad spots and sizes, Top Banner is 728×90, Right Hand (Sidebar) is 300×250, in the lower right we should have a 300×600 (I believe that’s in custom 1, and then an ad at the end of the story.
