I had an email notification for an update of the newsmag theme on July.
I didn’t update it and want to do it now, but I can’t download any file.
My current version is 2.3.6.
Can you please tell me if there’s a new update, and if so any link to make the download of the files.

Current theme’s version available on themeforest is V 3.1. You can download this version from your themeforest account in download section.

Before making any changes in your site make sure you do a full backup to your current wp-install and the database also: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

Thanks! The update has been successfully made.
I have a little issue with the author name of the post and the comment box, I had it disable and now is showing it.
I went to the theme panel/ post setting/show author name and enable comments i post and they are disable (grey).
But in the web I can still see them.
Is there another button that I have to disable?

Since V3 we added options which allows you to enable/disable meta info on module. You can disable them from theme panel > blocks settings: http://screencast.com/t/dgeyU7lOC
