First off love the theme, but I am having issues with Modal Image. Before I contiue, I have done a search and tried, but no luck.
I have it set to
GENERAL MODAL IMAGE – Enabled.
I am under the impression with it enabled, any image added to a new post, will automatically pop out if clicked on providing it is linked to the correct url.
For me that’s not the case, each new post, I still have to go to each image and turn on the Modal Image. I also have to link it to the media file as it says “None”.
Is there a bug with wordpress 4.6 and Newsmag 3.1? If so let me know.

I am not sure why this happens but it could be a conflict between the theme and some plugin that you have installed. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again. Also make sure that the image links to media file: http://screencast.com/t/vUd3GcWe7qY
