How do I disable the damned thing, especially on iPads where it obscures the regular sidebar and can’t be dismissed? It’s driving me nuts.

Thanks, but it was actually the ‘More posts’ popup that’s causing problems. for some reason it appears the wrong size on Firefox on my site (tried thre machines). It’s twice the size it should be and the close box is off the top of the screen so I can’t dismiss it.

If you login to http://rochdaleherald.co.uk with WordPress.com (or create an account) and email me you username I can give you admin privs. The ‘More News’ sidebar is temporarily disabled until I find a solution.

I assume that you are referring to the More Article Box. So, if you want to disable this feature, you can do that from the panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/efZYmycGZ
