Post Sort Order

I do not want my posts to be sorted by random (random_posts) and instead want date. Anybody know of a list of sort order code for me to use / save for future reference? I have looked through Google and the forum and don’t see a list. THANKS

WordPress normally shows posts in reverse date order on all indexes (“newest at top”).

In theme modules you can set the sortation per module, with default being date sort, unless you choose a random sort manually.

There is no default in WordPress to do random posts — this is a setting you chose, or using a template where that was an option as starting point/example.
