need help with classic blog

Hello,

I am trying to make the header at top (my logo) larger – it imports at a very small size and I would like it to look like the classic blog demo featured on your website.

Also I can’t find where to change the font for the blog post header on my home page.

Hi

On classic blog demo we use header style 11 which don’t have a limit for logo. Try to create a custom image by a size which you ting will fits best on your site then upload it in wordpress and use it as logo, the theme won’t affect it’s size in any way.
Are you referring at homepage post block from Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/uzTrha8kyvcc If so then you can change its fonts from theme panel > theme fonts: http://screencast.com/t/ZG0Riynnc

Hi Andrei, I have made the logo larger in pixel size to span the width of the page (1200 x 400 72 DPI) but it imports very small using header style 11. Here is the link:

Hi Catalin,

The logo there at the top fo the home page. If you save image to downloads you can inspect it in Photohop.
This is interesting though: What I just discovered upon uploading it again is when I download back down from the website it changed the size down to 4″. The original upload is 12 inches long. So the website is shrinking it somehow.

I wish I could attach a scree shot somehow.

To confirm: I am uploading it to header style 11 from the Theme panel in the logo & favicon menu. Then uploading it to the logo slot where it reads: Upload your logo (272 x 90px) .png or .jpg

Hi

When you upload any image in media library wordpress create thumbs for it. Your logo is not the original image, but a thumb by 300x100px. The original image would look like this as logo: http://screencast.com/t/PLKQTgVLhGL
Make sure that you set the full image as logo, bot a thumb then test the site again: http://screencast.com/t/uU0SwiVmJK4

When I click on the image in the media (like the screen shot you sent) it does not give me attachment display settings. It only reads… View attachment page | edit more details | delete permanently. If I click on any of these it still does not give me the option for full size image.

I don’t know where to change the code like in the screen shot you sent.

I keep thinking it has something to do with where I’m uploading it to. Can you confirm for that this is where I should be uploading my image for the header on my blog page?

How can I change the style of the homepage post block from Visual Composer?? I can´t find! Could you help me please?

Catalin, is it that difficult to chance the style of Homepage post? As we have options for our posts isn´t the same just set up the style? Why style 8?

Do you recomend any freelancer? It will be a such small change.
