I went into theme panel and I’d like to change the layout of my blog posts. I’ve changed it in “template settings” and “blog and posts template” but it’s not updating on the live site.
Is that the right spot to change the post template?

Yes, this is the right section where you should edit your Blog and Post template settings. In order to achieve best results, please ensure that you have cleared all your caches. Also, please make sure that you have changed the theme to Blog mode from the General Settings from WordPress
